National Central University (NCU) is a university with long-standing traditions in Taiwan. Located in Zhongli, NCU covers an area of 62 hectares. We have approximately 12,000 students, and there are 8 colleges, 23 departments, 20 graduate institutes, 8 university-level research centers and one united research center, the Office of Teaching Centers (OTC), and the affiliated Zhongli Senior High School. NCU is truly a comprehensive university of rich scientific and humanistic facilities.

Among those departments, Department of computer Science and Information Engineering (SCIE), which is under College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, founded in 1981 and recruited doctoral students from 1988 on wards. Currently there are 1,399 undergraduates, 1291 graduate students, 240 master's graduates, and 157 Ph.D. graduate students. With the efforts of faculty members and previous faculty members, teachers and students have enjoyed increasing numbers of honours and awards and have developed into a distinctive and reputable institution within the country's research universities.

Network Engineering Research Group

  • Advanced network communication technology research and development

  • New Generation Network Application Development
